In 1990, Watership Trading Companie was launched, and set out to build the highest quality headwear for men and women. It didn’t start there though as Greg and Carol Frechette made their first canvas hat in 1969 for an archeological expedition to the Aleution Islands. Carol’s grandmother also owned an operated a hat shop in California almost 100 years ago—so as you can see—hats are their business and passion! They have researched the best materials and developed innovative methods of manufacturing to bring consumers a product with high quality, comfort and style. They have made over a million hats!
